Data Processed
We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. When you use our website and Services, we primarily process the data necessary for their use, the data you provide to us and the information we collect directly (see below).
When you use our website and Services, we record metadata such as information about your browser (type and version), your device type (e.g. smartphone or tablet) and your IP address. We also collect access data, also known as log data. This includes the name of the website accessed, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, information about the operating system and details of the previously visited website.
We only store and process further personal data if you provide it to us when using Services and tools (e.g. the contact form). Further privacy-related information on specific tools can be found, where applicable, further below in this privacy policy.
Purpose
We process your data exclusively for the purposes communicated to you when the data was collected, as well as for other purposes compatible with these objectives. Further information on the legal bases of our data processing can be found further below in this privacy policy.
Processing of Data
We process your data for various purposes in connection with communicating with you. This includes in particular responding to enquiries, enforcing your rights and contacting you if we have any questions. For this purpose, we mainly use communication data and master data, as well as registration data relating to offers and services you use. This data may be stored for documentation, training, quality assurance and follow-up purposes.
We also process data for marketing purposes and to maintain customer relationships. We may send our users general or personalised information about our offering, for example in the form of occasional contact by email, post or telephone, or via other channels for which we have your contact details. You may object to such contact at any time, or refuse or withdraw your consent to being contacted for advertising purposes. With your consent, we can tailor our online offering more closely to the needs of our users.
We may also use your data for market research, to improve our online offering and our services and, where applicable, for product development.
Finally, we may also store and process your data for security reasons and for access control on our website.
Log files
We mainly use data to create server log files in order to carry out statistical analyses for the operation of the website, to ensure the security of our IT systems and to optimise the website. For this we primarily use log data. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing you with a secure and smooth user experience at all times. We also reserve the right to review the log data retrospectively if there are specific indications of unlawful use.
Contact form
If you contact us via the contact form, we collect your contact details in order to process your enquiry and answer any follow-up questions. This data is transmitted in encrypted form.
If you have provided us with your email address or contacted us directly by email, we may also send you information by email relating to the handling of your concerns and questions.
The legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest in handling your online enquiry efficiently and effectively. If the purpose of the email contact is the conclusion of a contract, the data processing is based on the initiation of that contractual relationship.
reCAPTCHA
To ensure that the form(s) on our website are completed by a human and not by a bot, we use reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA is provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google's privacy policy is available at: policies.google.com/privacy

The legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest in optimising our processes. Further information on Bexio's privacy policy can be found at: www.bexio.com/de-CH/richtlinien/datenschutz

Online appointment booking
We may offer services on our website for which the provision of personal data may be mandatory. One example of such a service is booking consultation or advisory appointments online. In these cases, we primarily process master and communication data, and in some cases further information required to handle your request. We may also store your data so that we can refer to it in subsequent communication. We may also contact you to assist you in using our Services.
The legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest in offering you an attractive service for coordinating appointments online. You may withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Cookie preferences
We give you the option of adjusting the use of cookies on our website to your needs via the Cookie Preference Center, or of withdrawing your consent to the use of cookies. In addition, most browsers allow you to be warned or notified when cookies are set, or to block cookies entirely. If you would like a complete and up-to-date overview of all third-party access to your browser, specific browser plug-ins provide this function.
Our website and other online publications may include third-party content, such as maps from Google Maps, fonts from Google Fonts or videos from Vimeo. As a result, your IP address is transmitted to these providers. Certain external services may only be activated after your explicit confirmation.
We include this external content in order to provide you with useful information or functions, or to optimise your user experience. No further data processing takes place on our side. Our legitimate interest in offering you this content or these functions is therefore the legal basis for this processing.
We endeavour to include only external providers that use your IP address solely to deliver the content. However, we have no influence over any storage and processing of your IP address by third-party providers. For this reason, with regard to data processing by the respective third-party provider, we refer you to the privacy policy of the service concerned. Further information on individual privacy settings can be found here.

We may use Google Ads in conjunction with Google conversion tracking on our website. This service is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), a subsidiary of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). If you reach our website via a Google ad, Google Ads places a cookie on your device. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie, which is not used for personal identification.
The information collected by the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for Google Ads customers and to analyse your browsing behaviour for marketing purposes. This allows us to tailor our advertising to your interests. However, no personal information is transmitted by which you can be directly identified.
The legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest in better tailoring our advertising to our users. Further information on conversion tracking, as well as general details on Google Ads and the Google Marketing Platform, can be found at:

When Google Maps is used, your IP address is transmitted. Google may link your data to your Google user account if you are logged in at the time. If you do not want your data to be linked to your Google account, you can log out of your Google account before using Google Maps.
